Mornings on the Island

One of the most amazing things about staying a week in Stradbroke Island is waking up to this! You should hear the sound of the morning birds singing and chirping, the distant roar of the ocean beyond the jungle surrounds... It is the place to sit out in the warmth rising sun, perhaps have a lazy swing on the hammocks with a good book, and have a mug of coffee while doing my morning devotion and journaling! I thank God so much for this opportunity to just get away from everything and find the stillness in this beautiful place to tune in to God's voice. I absolutely love reading and pondering life and faith and everything in between when I'm in places like this...
