Eritrean-Ethiopian Dinner Funtimes!

Our Eritrean friend Meron took us to this delicious Ethiopian-Eritrean restaurant in Kabalagala. It was such a fun night eating from the same plate together and sharing about the amazing things God has been doing in our lives from our different backgrounds and nations – Rwanda, Congo, Uganda, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, and Australia. When I’m in these moments, I just sit in awe and thankfulness of how the same bond of unity and faith can bring us together in one place with the same spirit. It’s beautiful and when you hear the stories of how we all met, you can only say it’s nothing less than a God-orchestrated miracle.

The Difference

Wayfarers walk by faith and dream with eyes wide open. Living simply, they go places, break barriers, embrace people, and build bridges. They're cool if things go wrong; it's the journey that counts. They like being on their own, but love the company of like-minded people anytime! Wayfarers love to hang with the locals, make music in unusual places, and share stories. They're creative about ways to touch the world both on the home turf and on the road. Wayfarers are on the life-long odyssey of discovery with hearts anchored in Faith, Hope and Love.
