Saw the most breath-taking side of Zimbabwe today - the lush mountainous Manicaland region & Mutare, close to the Mozambican border. Spending a week here with Hope for Aids & Serving in Mission (SIM). Today I was in a rural township nestled between these rolling hills, visited children who were hiv+ & carers of previously orphan-run households (now supported by neighbors, aunties & gogos). Hope for Aids is reaching countless orphaned & vulnerable children in practical ways that help to empower and sustain the local families too. It's a very confronting & challenging situation, but I am so thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to learn from this work and see how God is using this ministry to impact so many!!!
